Job summary

Hastings Motor Corporation in Davao City seeks an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety Officer (SO3) with strong regulatory knowledge to lead environmental compliance and safety programs at our manufacturing facilities. The role requires DOLE-accredited SO3, location-based in Davao with travel to CDO.

You will oversee regulatory documentation, risk assessments, incident investigations, and training, coordinating with management and regulatory agencies to ensure strict adherence to RA

Qualifications

• Preferably a graduate of Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• DOLE-accredited Safety Officer Level 3 (SO3) with additional 48 hours of advanced/specialized OSH training (risk assessment, industrial hygiene, or equivalent).
• 3-5 years of experience as a Pollution Control Officer (PCO) and 5-10 years OSH experience in manufacturing, construction, heavy equipment, or industrial settings.
• Preferably with valid LLDA and DENR certifications/accreditations.
• Strong knowledge of environmental laws and regulations, including RA 8749, RA 9275, waste management, and other environmental regulations.
• Knowledgeable in occupational safety, environmental compliance, risk assessment, incident investigation, and workplace safety programs.
• Proficient in regulatory documentation, compliance reports, monitoring records, and other safety and environmental-related documentation.
• Strong understanding and commitment to legal and regulatory compliance, with keen attention to detail and due diligence.
• Training of Trainers (TOT) certification is an advantage.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with strong proficiency in PowerPoint and other presentation tools.
• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of coordinating with employees, management, and regulatory agencies.
• Willing to conduct site inspections, fieldwork, safety training, and environmental compliance activities.
• Will be based in Davao but will be required to travel to CDO

Responsibilities

• Lead OSH programs, training sessions, and regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate with management and regulatory agencies on permits and certifications.
• Develop and maintain documentation for compliance and audits.
