BairesDev is seeking a Senior Ruby & Ruby on Rails Engineer to design and maintain robust server-side web applications. You will translate business requirements into efficient, scalable database schemas and APIs while contributing as a key technical member of the team.

The role emphasizes building scalable backend services, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading code quality and deployment practices in a 100% remote environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Ruby development.
• Proven expertise in Ruby on Rails and database management with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Strong hands-on experience with ORM using RoR Active Record.
• Solid understanding of designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with version control systems, specifically GitHub.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance web applications and backend services.
• Optimize server-side logic and database interactions to ensure speed and reliability.
