Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland seeks an experienced finance professional for hybrid work in Makati. The role involves reviewing and approving month-end close journals, asset reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and various postings to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The candidate should have ACA/ACCA/CPA qualifications with 3–5+ years post-qualification experience, strong Excel skills, and experience managing medium to large teams within ERP environments such as SAP or Oracle.

Qualifications

• Qualified with ACA/ACCA/CPA and 3–5+ years post-qualification experience.
• Ability to work within tight deadlines and meet statutory filing deadlines.
• Advanced Excel skills with experience in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Review and approve month-end close journals (accruals, prepayments, payroll, intercompany).
• Review fixed asset subledger reconciliation to General Ledger.
• Review and approve bank reconciliations and FX postings.
• Review lease-related journals and deferred revenue postings.
• Review inventory valuation and accounting procedures.
• Review share-based compensation postings and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review variance analyses on Balance Sheet and P/L and propose adjustments.
• Coordinate shadow books back-ups with local offices and ensure proper documentation.
• Manage client relationships and project management across teams.
