Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd. seeks a Business Risk Officer – Unsecured Lending and Cards to support risk management culture and awareness across the Unsecured Lending and Cards Group. You will help implement risk programs and work with Compliance, Internal Audit, and regulatory bodies.

Ideal candidates hold a business or accounting degree with at least 2 years in banking risk management, and will coordinate risk assessments, policy rollouts, and training initiatives across units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business or accounting-related course.
• At least 2 years experience in the banking industry under Risk Management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, review, and monitor the Bank's Risk Management implementation.
• Proactively identify and monitor credit and operational risks to avoid sanctions, losses, or reputational damage.
• Disseminate information on risk matters, including new policies, process changes, and risk-related trainings.
• Support and coordinate with Unsecured Lending and Cards units during portfolio/product reviews, audits, and regulatory examinations.
• Establish clear communication between Unsecured Lending and Cards units and Internal Audit, Risk Management Office, Compliance Office, and external auditors/regulators.
