Job summary

MSCI's Analytics Factor Model team in a production-focused role seeks a Senior Associate for Risk Model Analytics Operations. You will own the daily lifecycle of multi-asset class models and risk data, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and reliable client delivery across channels.

You will drive QA, incident management, and runbook improvements, partner with Research and Model Engineering, and push AI/automation initiatives to optimize operations globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and 7+ years in data operations or data-intensive finance roles.
• Strong Python and SQL for data analysis, investigation, and automation.
• Experience in incident management and end-to-end production incidents.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a global, distributed team.
• Proficiency in English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• QA checks on model outputs and data pipelines with root-cause analysis.
• Automate QA tasks with SQL scripts and Python notebooks.
• Own daily production oversight for multi-asset factor models.
• Manage incidents end-to-end including root-cause analysis and communication.
• Oversee timely distribution of model data to internal and external clients.
• Maintain runbooks and SOPs to reduce resolution time.
• Drive AI tooling adoption and continuous process improvements.
