Job summary

East West Banking Corporation (EastWest) is seeking a Senior Manager to lead ICAAP, Recovery Planning, and enterprise stress testing. You will drive governance, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate capital and recovery risk reporting to Senior Management and the Board.

The role requires 8–12 years in enterprise risk management in a regulated bank, with knowledge of BSP ICAAP guidelines, Basel Pillar 2, EWIs, and recovery planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering.
• Master's degree strongly preferred.
• 8–12 years of enterprise risk management experience in a regulated bank.
• Strong knowledge of BSP ICAAP guidelines, SAFr, Basel Pillar 2, capital adequacy & stress testing.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and engage senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead ICAAP, Recovery Planning, and enterprise stress testing governance.
• Coordinate BSP submissions and regulatory responses with risk units.
• Oversee controls, data integrity, and validation across ICAAP, Recovery Planning, and stress testing.
• Ensure Early Warning Indicators (EWIs) and escalation protocols are embedded in governance.
• Own and enhance the enterprise stress testing framework and scenarios.
• Translate stress testing outcomes into capital management and risk appetite decisions.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management and Risk Management Committee.
