Job summary

Kerry is seeking a seasoned R&D professional to lead snack seasoning development for the Philippines and Southeast Asia. You will drive innovative flavor solutions, partner with commercial and technical teams, and support growth in snacks and savory categories.

Location is Taguig, Philippines; reporting to the RD&A Manager. Candidates should bring strong cross-functional teamwork, presentation skills, and extensive experience in snack product development and flavor work.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science / Food Technology or similar.
• 7-10 years’ experience in snacks product development.
• Experience in Flavor / Taste area preferred.
• Strong technical competence in snacks seasoning systems, development, and application.

Responsibilities

• Development and application of Snacks (Cheese/ Savory) System solutions for Philippines and possibly SEA markets.
• Driving and supporting the growth of snacks in the Philippines and across SEA.
• Apply specialist knowledge across Snack End User Markets (EUMs).
• Collaborate with commercial teams and customers to deliver solutions.
• Work with technical teams, flavorists, business development, and commercial teams to meet customer requirements.
• Contribute to R&D and application of snack knowledge in Philippines and SEA markets.
• Engage with Kerry's product collection and adapt to business needs.

About The Role

This role will drive the development and application of innovative snack seasoning and savory solutions for customers across the Philippines and Southeast Asia, leveraging Kerry's global technology portfolio to meet evolving market needs. You will also partner closely with commercial, technical, and cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions and support business growth in the snacks and savory food categories.

Key responsibilities

• Development and application of Snacks (Cheese/ Savory) System solutions for Philippines and possibly in other SEA Markets.
• Driving and supporting the growth of the snacks in the Philippines and across South East Asia and with key customers in the local region.
• Apply specialist knowledge and skills in development and application across Snack End User Markets (EUMs).
• Collaborate with commercial teams and customers to deliver solutions addressing their challenges.
• Work closely with technical teams, flavorists, business development, and commercial teams to understand and meet customer requirements in snack and end-user markets.
• Contribute to the advancement of research, development, and application of snack and savory knowledge in the Philippines and key Southeast Asian markets by sharing Kerry's global technology portfolio.
• Actively engage with Kerry's product collection and adapt it to meet business needs.

Qualifications And Skills

• Preferably a Degree in Food Science / Food Technology or similar discipline.
• Preferably at least 7-10 years’ experience working in the snacks sector in a product development role; experience in Flavor / Taste area will be preferred.
• Strong technical competence in snacks seasoning systems, development, and application, with the ability to work well with a cross-functional team across SEA region.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaborating across departments like sales, marketing, finance, and operations.
• Strong presentation skills to effectively engage with customers and suppliers according to business needs.
