Job summary

Marsh in Mexico City is seeking a Reinsurance Accounting and Claims Senior Analyst. You will manage financial statements, handle premium and claims processing, and ensure compliance across reinsurance activities with some hybrid work flexibility.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in treaty reinsurance, strong English communication skills, and solid MS Office andPower BI experience. You will mentor colleagues and build client relationships while supporting regulatory controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in the reinsurance industry.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced database management (experience with Power BI desirable).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Know and comply with US market regulations in reinsurance.
• Have knowledge of proportional and non-proportional reinsurance.
• Proficiency in managing financial statements and performing accounting tasks.
• Premium and Claims Processing.
• Familiarity with contract law and regulatory controls.
• Manage slips and claims from various reinsurers.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, clients, and markets.
• Follow up on ongoing activities.
• Experience in accounting and finance-related activities.
• 2–3 years in Treaty Reinsurance.
• Mentor colleagues and deliver strong client service.
