The role emphasizes internal controls, regulatory reporting, AMLA and KYC procedures, and tight deadlines for audits, with responsibilities covering branch accounting, reconciliations, tax filings, and financial statement preparation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance.
• CPA license strongly preferred for SEC/BSP reporting.
• 2–4 years of financial accounting experience, preferably in Pawnshop, Lending, Microfinance, or NBFI.
• Solid knowledge of BSP MORNBFI, AMLA, and SEC reporting standards.
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).

Responsibilities

• Prepare BSP period reports and audit statements per MORNBFI.
• Submit SEC annual requirements including eFAST filings.
• Maintain AMLA compliance, KYC procedures, and CTR monitoring.
• Handle BIR monthly/quarterly tax returns and LGU permits.
• Oversee branch accounting, reconciliations, and revenue/interest tracking.
• Assist auditors and participate in regulatory inspections as needed.
