Haskoning in Makati is seeking a Senior Recruitment Specialist to attract, hire, and retain top talent for the Philippines and Australia. You will own the full recruitment lifecycle across both markets, collaborating with hiring managers and the APAC team, while delivering end-to-end recruitment independently.

This role offers a hybrid setup, first three months office-based, with opportunities to shape talent acquisition strategies, build a strong talent pipeline, and drive candidate experience

Qualifications

• At least a bachelor or master’s degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 5 years relevant experience within recruitment preferably in a global engineering consultancy company.
• Experience with sourcing engineering and/or consultancy staff and delivering on strategies for difficult to fill roles.
• Strong understanding of local Philippines/Australia labor market trends and recruitment practices.
• Experience in managing agencies/third party suppliers.
• Solid experience and proven track record in recruitment delivery.
• Good interpersonal skills, result-driven and proactive.
• Experience in early careers/campus recruitment.
• Excellent command of English and Filipino.

What you will do as Senior Recruitment Specialist

As a Senior Recruitment Specialist at our office in Makati City, you will play a key role in attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent for Haskoning. In this position, you will be the sole recruiter supporting both the Philippines and Australia, taking ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle across these markets. While you will work closely with hiring managers, local stakeholders, and fellow recruiters across the APAC region, you will independently lead recruitment activities for both countries. This provides a unique opportunity to make a direct impact, build strong relationships across the business, and shape talent acquisition strategies in two important growth markets.

As our new Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will become part of our Makati Office team, supporting the business across the Philippines and Australia. You will also become part of our Global Talent Acquisition team, based at our headquarters in the Netherlands. Although you will collaborate closely with fellow recruiters across APAC and the wider global recruitment team, you will be the sole recruiter supporting both the Philippines and Australia, giving you significant ownership and visibility across the business.

Our Philippine office consists of colleagues based in our main office Makati and across project sites. We excel in a wide variety of services and have a significant and growing portfolio of opportunities in the fields of climate resilience (river basin management, flood mapping, coastal protection, drainage, climate adaptation), maritime (land reclamation, dredging, ports, harbors, and jetties) and renewables (offshore wind and solar).

Our clients range from government bodies, development institutions (World Bank, ADB, etc.) to private developers. We provide them with a range of services throughout the various phases of a project: from inception, through master planning, feasibility, design all the way to construction management.
