Job summary

Arcadis is recruiting a Senior Engineer – Rail Structures to work on UK rail projects from Bangalore. The role requires a BE (Civil) and M Tech (Structures) with 10+ years in bridge design consulting. Chartered Engineer status is preferred or actively pursued.

You will lead engineers and BIM technicians, coordinate across disciplines, and drive design from first principles while ensuring safety, QA/QC, and client satisfaction across projects.

Qualifications

• BE (Civil) and M Tech (Structures) with 10+ years of bridge design consulting experience.
• Preferably Chartered Engineer with ICE or IStructE or pursuing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a team of engineers and BIM technicians on complex projects.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and define task scope with regional leads.
• Develop design from first principles and ensure QA/QC per GEC management system.
• Prepare general arrangement and reinforcement drawings; compute quantities and prepare design reports.
• Engage with clients to identify opportunities and deliver innovative, sustainable solutions.
