Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a Senior Quant Specialist to serve analysts, researchers, data scientists, developers and other users across corporate accounts with tailored quantitative solutions. You will craft, articulate, and demonstrate advanced data calculations and workflows to meet client requirements.

In this client-facing role, you will independently solve complex queries, train clients, support onboarding, and help drive feature testing to improve adoption and outcomes

Qualifications

• Finance, business, information science, computer science or economics degree preferred.
• Significant experience in a client-facing role in financial or data modelling.
• Ability to travel up to 5% is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized customer service support to analysts, researchers, and institutional accounts.
• Resolve sophisticated client queries and ensure accurate information delivery.
• Build and manage client relationships through training and onboarding support.
• Advocate for new product features and promote usage within client workflows.
• Meet with Sales to gather requirements and assist in onboarding of new business.

Job Description:

• Senior Quant Specialists provide specialized customer service support to analysts, researchers, data scientists, developers and various users at corporate and institutional accounts serving their business strategy needs through consultation and advising on content and product capabilities.
• Work independently to solve sophisticated client queries and resolve issues where precedent may not exist. Ensures the accurate delivery of information and resolution.
• Build and manage relationships with existing clients through training, client meetings, implementation support, case management, and timely assistance in their financial research project and model development needs.
• Improve the customer experience by advocating for and testing new product features and promoting increased product usage into the client’s workflow.
• Meet with Sales and prospective customers, gather product and integration requirements, demonstrate various aspects of the platform, and assist in the onboarding of new business.

Requirements:

• Recommended Degree: Finance, Business, Information Science, Computer Science, or Economics
• Significant experience in client-facing role in relevant financial or data modelling industry
• Advanced understanding of the business area, customer profile, and products supported
• Ability to travel (< 5%)
