Job summary

Join TetraScience, Inc. as a Senior Quality Engineer shaping quality for scientific use cases. You will own end-to-end quality across UI, API, and data workflows for a top-five global pharmaceutical customer, building robust automation and AI-assisted testing in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

You will lead test strategy, drive SDLC compliance, and deliver release evidence in validated environments while mentoring teammates and advancing QA maturity.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in quality engineering or SDET roles.
• Proven ownership of quality for a product area independently.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and SDLC in Agile.
• Proven expertise designing test plans and reporting results.
• Proficiency in Python, Java or JavaScript with Playwright experience.
• Advanced SQL and databases; Databricks is a plus.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
• Strong use of AI tooling for automation and test generation.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, data pipelines and AWS.
• Experience producing release evidence in validated environments.
• Curiosity for scientific use cases; science background is a plus.
• BS/MS in CS, Engineering, or Data Science; relevant experience.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to fast-paced teams.

Responsibilities

• Own quality for your use cases and sign off their releases.
• Verify delivered work aligns with documented requirements and evidence.
• Ensure the SDLC is followed in a validated environment.
• Build and own test automation across UI, API and DB with Playwright.
• Improve test coverage, cycle time, and overall quality approach.
• Use AI to strengthen tests and automate evaluation of results.
• Collaborate with scientists, data engineers, and product teams.
• Estimate, prioritize, and plan QE work independently.
