Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer in Binan, Laguna to lead customer quality complaint handling, data-driven investigations, and CAPA programs across production and supply chain. The role focuses on 8D problem solving, quality performance monitoring, and change management to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

The candidate should have a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and at least 10 years in semiconductor QA, with strong skills in problem solving, quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (preferred Electronics/Electrical).
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Quality Assurance in a semiconductor environment.
• Strong knowledge of problem solving techniques, process and quality control tools, and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer complaints and non-conformances; review defect logs and lead failure analyses.
• Generate 8D reports and support closure.
• Monitor CCAR KPIs and other quality metrics; coordinate action with KPI owners.
• Look Across—share lessons learned for CCAR and customer feedback.
• Review MRB/MAV and ensure quality requirements are met; implement quality controls and CIP actions.
• Support CAB change management and follow-up closure.
• Provide NPI quality support and participate in related reviews.
• Drive CIP implementations at the plant and ensure timely communications of Vishay requirements.
• Keep quality records updated and monitor defect trends to identify high-risk areas.
• Lead CCAR KPI improvement meetings and conduct CAPA audits.
• Conduct internal and external audits; support for external audits at suppliers.
