Job summary

Umpisa Inc. is seeking a QA Lead (Manual and Automation) to oversee the entire QA function with hands-on leadership. The role drives test strategy, planning, execution, and process improvements to ensure high-quality and secure product releases.

The Senior QA Lead/QA Manager will mentor the QA team, enhance automation frameworks, and collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps to embed quality across the SDLC and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years in Quality Assurance/Software Testing with 3+ years in senior/lead/manager roles.
• Experience with manual and automated testing across web, API, and mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead mobile and web testing; verify and validate software quality.
• Define and govern QA standards, governance and test strategy.
• Plan and maintain automated test suites and DevOps integration.
• Manage QA automation projects including day-to-day activities and client communication.
• Serve as the main QA gatekeeper within the agile team and ensure release readiness.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps to embed quality across SDLC.
