Job summary

Offshore 24/7 in the Philippines is seeking a permanent, work-from-home QA professional to own the QA and release-readiness for mobile (React Native) and web products, supporting an Australian business.

You will define acceptance criteria, run regression testing, inspect logs, use SQL to verify data, and sign off on releases while collaborating across time zones.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, API checks with Postman, and contributing to automated test coverage over time.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on software QA experience.
• At least 1 year of experience testing React Native mobile apps.
• Experience testing both mobile and web apps.
• Ability to use SQL to investigate and validate data.
• Hands-on API testing experience using Postman or similar.
• Strong written and spoken English; ability to work across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end QA and release readiness across mobile and web products.
• Define acceptance criteria with product and developers before development begins.
• Plan and execute manual, exploratory and regression testing through to production release.
• Investigate defects using logs, API responses, SQL, and relevant code.
• Test APIs using Postman and validate behavior across integrations.
• Provide QA sign-off and communicate risks clearly.
• Coordinate or support user acceptance testing where required.
• Use AI-assisted tools to analyse logs and generate queries.
• Contribute to stronger automated test coverage over time.
