Job summary

Asurion is seeking a QA Engineer 2 - Operations in the Philippines to ensure quality across releases and environments. You will design and execute test plans, validate defect fixes, and monitor production health to protect the customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required, manufacturing/quality focus preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of manufacturing or quality engineering experience.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification is required.
• Experience in laboratory and reliability testing preferred.
• Experience with failure analysis and metrology (SEM-EDS, 3D X-ray, CMM) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Quality Engineering focal point for PVD and Anodizing processes.
• Plan and coordinate new process transfers and start-up with internal customers.
• Review and validate PVD/Anodizing processes including surface preparation, cleaning, coating, and thickness controls.
• Lead qualification and validation of new colors, recipes, materials, and tooling.
• Drive continuous improvement and implement corrective and preventive actions.
