Job summary

Booth and Partners Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to drive quality assurance within our software engineering team. You will design robust QA processes, maintain automated test suites, and advocate for test-driven development to scale our dealership platform.

You will work with engineers and product owners to clarify ticket intent, raise flags early, and ensure comprehensive test coverage across API, integration, database and performance testing. EST alignment is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software QA development with hands-on test suite creation and modification.
• Experience with Ruby, PostgreSQL, and modern CI/CD tools (Git, Bitbucket).
• Strong hands-on experience with web automation frameworks; Playwright preferred.
• Ability to handle complex test logic, multi-step state setups, and edge-case scenarios.
• SaaS testing across API, integration, database, visual, performance, and load testing.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication; advocate for quality in cross-functional teams.
• EST time zone preferred as teams operate on EST/Central hours.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and document clear test plans and manual test cases for automation onboarding.
• Maintain and extend existing automated test suites with complex state setups.
• Collaborate in daily stand-ups and sprint meetings; clarify requirements and test reasoning.
• Evaluate tickets for overall intent to catch edge cases early in development.
• Provide insights on QA tools, architecture and framework enhancements for scalability.
