This role is responsible for ensuring software quality by designing, developing, and executing automated functional and regression tests using Playwright. The QA Automation Engineer contributes to stable, reliable releases by identifying defects early and improving test coverage.

The role will be accountable for the following key result areas:
- Test Automation Development & Execution: Design and maintain automated test s to validate applicationfunctionality across browsers.
- Quality Assurance & Defect Prevention: Identify defects early and work with development teams to reduce defect leakage.
- Test Coverage & Reliability: Ensure adequate test coverage for critical application features.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve testing practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute Selenium automation test s
- Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing
- Identify, document, and track defects
- Maintain and enhance automated test suites
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation testing
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
- Experience with test frameworks and ing languages
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Experience integrating automation tests with CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to API or performance testing
- Experience in Agile or DevOps environments
