Job summary

Bridgit is hiring a talented QA Engineer to help ensure our digital loan systems remain reliable, high‑performing and customer‑friendly. You’ll design and execute automation across UI, API and integration layers while championing quality‑first practices within an agile product team.

You’ll mentor peers on automation, drive improvements in testing tooling, and collaborate with engineers to optimize CI/CD and data validation using PostgreSQL and AWS‑based environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands‑on QA automation experience in complex software environments.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js ecosystem.
• Commercial experience with Playwright for end‑to‑end testing.
• Expertise in Page Object Model and automation design patterns.
• Strong background in CI/CD tools.
• Database skills with PostgreSQL for test data management and validation.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
• Experience working with AI‑driven solutions is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Do Test Strategy & Architecture Design and implement automation testing across UI, API and integration layers.
• Execute performance and security testing initiatives to ensure resilience at scale.
• Champion quality‑first practices and foster testing excellence across engineering teams.
• Mentor team members on automation best practices and testing methodologies.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and tooling.
• Develop robust automation test suites using Playwright and modern frameworks.
• Implement comprehensive API testing strategies.

• Monitor test metrics and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
