Booth, a leading SaaS payroll processing and rights management provider, is seeking a Senior Manual QA Tester to ensure high-quality releases across our web applications built with modern frameworks.

You will work remotely from the Philippines, aligned with Australian Eastern Standard Time hours, collaborating with product and engineering to drive root‑cause analysis and QA maturity across the platform suite.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience in software quality assurance / test analyst roles.
• In-depth understanding of the SDLC and Agile development environments.
• Strong web diagnostic capabilities using browser DevTools to isolate backend vs. frontend issues.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root-cause identification.
• Ability to work remotely in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategy, execution approaches, and coverage models for web-based SaaS applications.
• Perform thorough functional, regression, and pre-release testing to ensure application integrity.
• Utilize browser DevTools and BrowserStack for root-cause analysis and diagnostic testing.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using Jira and TestRail.
• Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and product teams to influence release decisions.
• Scope and estimate QA efforts for sprint planning and upcoming feature deliverables.
• Participate in evolving QA processes and automation/AI-assisted testing pathways.
• Mentor and support team members to foster a culture of quality.
