Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant development experience.
• At least 1 year of leadership of development teams.
• Strong understanding of software development principles including SOLID and clean architecture.
• Proven track record building cloud-based, microservice-oriented backend services.

Responsibilities

• Design and construct backend services meeting performance, scalability, and reliability benchmarks.
• Contribute to architectural discussions shaping future direction of systems.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, rigorously tested code across services you create.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain quality and standards.
• Diagnose and resolve issues affecting performance and stability.
• Support deployment and operational health of cloud-based applications.
• Improve engineering practices, tooling, and workflows.
• Engage in planning to define scope and estimate effort for initiatives.
• Provide mentorship to fellow engineers throughout the lifecycle.
