Ciklum in Spain is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join our cross-functional team focused on the end-to-end payment lifecycle, including Swift, SEPA, and third-party integrations in a cloud-native, high-availability environment.

You will design and enhance microservices for payment processing, work with AWS, Kafka and Kubernetes, collaborate in an international setting, and contribute to production observability, while growing your skills through internal trainings and a flexible hybrid

Qualifications

• Expert-level Python for backend development.
• Professional experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services).
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous communication.
• Practical experience with publishing, consuming, and processing data streams (Kafka).
• Experience deploying and operating services in Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• System Integration: implement asynchronous communication patterns for data consistency and speed.
