Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Middle to Senior Python Developer based in Spain to build and evolve high-performance backend systems within a fast-paced iGaming environment. You will work across a modern Python-based stack, delivering new product capabilities and scalable services, with ownership over technical solutions and production reliability.

You will design and implement backend features, integrate with payments and data providers, and contribute to automated communications and risk management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Expert knowledge of Python 3.x and Django.
• Experience designing and developing highly loaded, scalable systems.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, data structures and algorithms.
• Intermediate English or higher for collaboration in an international environment.
• Experience in the iGaming or sports betting industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make architectural and technical decisions for backend products and services.
• Design, develop, implement, test backend solutions using Python and Django.
• Build new features and integrate with payment methods and external data providers.
• Develop automated communications, risk management, and other backend systems.
• Monitor production systems for reliability and performance; optimize as needed.
• Break down complex tasks into manageable components and deliver solutions efficiently.
