Job summary

SINELINK NEW ENERGY in Metro Manila is seeking a Senior Application Engineer - PV & BESS to strengthen its technical application capabilities. This role will act as an engineering bridge between international customer requirements, system and component selection, and our manufacturing and supply chain teams in China.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical experience in solar PV, electrical BOS, power systems, or battery energy storage systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical parameters, cable sizing and derating, technical specifications, and system-level BOS integration.
• Familiarity with international EPC/project documentation and technical standards.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability and independence in handling technical enquiries.

Responsibilities

• Support overseas EPCs, system integrators, distributors, and project developers with PV DC cable sizing, electrical BOS component selection, and BESS system architecture/component integration.
• Review project-specific technical specifications, thermal derating parameters, and applicable international standards such as IEC, CPR, and UL.
• Provide technical clarification, product comparison, BOM review, and technical-commercial support for international customer RFQs and pre-sales projects.
• Work closely with engineering, product, and manufacturing teams in China to translate customer requirements into practical product and packaging solutions.
• Support supplier/component technical evaluation for PV and BESS applications.
• Gather engineering feedback from international markets to improve technical documentation, product development, and future application solutions.
