Job summary

Bandai Namco Philippines is seeking a Purchasing Senior Supervisor to lead the buying and procurement team in Lipa City, Batangas. This role focuses on developing effective purchasing strategies, managing supplier contracts and optimizing inventory to support manufacturing and distribution.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years in purchasing with 2–3 years in a leadership role, strong ERP and data analysis skills, and a degree in SCM or related field. CPSM preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in purchasing, procurement or inventory management with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or senior role
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management and inventory control systems
• Proven experience in cost optimization and supplier negotiations
• Proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems
• Excellent leadership and ability to motivate and develop team members
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with cross-department collaboration
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or related field; CPSM or similar credentials preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the purchasing and procurement team, providing guidance, training and performance management
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies that optimize costs while maintaining quality and supplier relationships
• Manage supplier negotiations, contracts and performance evaluations
• Oversee inventory management systems and processes to maintain optimal stock levels
• Monitor purchasing metrics, prepare reports and analyze procurement data
• Coordinate with manufacturing, logistics and finance to integrate procurement activities
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations and ethical procurement practices
• Evaluate and onboard new suppliers while maintaining existing relationships
• Manage purchase orders, expedite deliveries and resolve supply chain issues
• Implement and improve inventory control procedures and stock management
