Job summary

Ecolab Philippines Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Roving Engineer to lead and coordinate water and wastewater treatment projects in the Philippines. The role covers design, tender support, and close collaboration with clients and Nalco sales teams.

The ideal candidate has a chemical or environmental engineering background with 6–8 years in water/wastewater and at least 3 years in project management, plus strong communication skills and a valid driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of water and wastewater treatment experience.
• At least 3 years in project management (coordination, documentation and planning).
• Proficient in water/wastewater system design or sizing.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Resourceful and a team player with ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Having a valid driver's license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the timeline and budget for the project while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and performance criteria.
• Serve as primary day-to-day customer contact, communicating with Nalco sales representatives as needed.
• Work as an extension of the customer’s management team to ensure contract compliance and fulfilment.
• Maintain excellent written and oral communication with customers and Company contacts.
• Coordinate with project developers and field teams to meet deadlines across all tasks.
• Develop detailed water or wastewater process designs and P&IDs per customer requirements; provide technical support during tendering.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals with specifications for tender submissions.
• Review project specifications to ensure company designs meet customer requirements.
• Maintain a high degree of industry knowledge by monitoring new developments and products.

Job description

As a Senior Project Roving Engineer you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Manage the timeline and budgetary cost set for the project management, ensuring compliance with formal contractual obligations and performance criteria.

• Serve a s a primary, day to day customer point of contact, communicating directly with the applicable members of the Nalco sales representatives.

• Work as an extension of the customer’s management team and provide contract compliance and fulfilment.

• Maintains excellence written and oral communication with customers and applicable Company contact.

• Work with project developers and field organization representatives to meet the deadlines in all related work assigned,

• Develop detailed water or wastewater treatment system process design and P&IDs based on customer requirements and provide technical support to customers during project tendering such as technical information and clarifications,

• Prepare commercial & technical proposals with specifications for tender submissions.

• Review project specification to ensure company design complies with customer specifications.

• Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge of the industry by monitoring new developments, new products, new research, new concepts, etc in the industry.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering

• At least 6-8 years of industry experience (Water and Waste water treatment)

• At least 3 years of experience in Project management (eg. project coordination, documentation and planning)

• Proficient in water / wastewater system process design or sizing (eg. RO projection software)

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Resourceful and a team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic & challenging environment

• Having a valid driver's license is preferred
