Job summary

Morek Engineering is seeking a senior engineer with a background in offshore renewables or offshore oil and gas to join our specialist team. You will contribute to delivering high‑quality engineering deliverables and support business growth through new contracts.

Currently, we are looking for an experienced senior engineer to join our team. Our senior engineers are subject matter experts, bringing a balance of past experience and technical knowledge to meet our customer’s exacting requirements.

We are particularly interested in applicants with a track record in project engineering in the offshore construction industry.

Your Responsibilities

• As a small organisation your input will be crucial in the running of the business with opportunities to develop specific responsibilities based on your own strengths. This may include line manage mentor ownership of specific technical subjects/fields.
• As a senior engineer you will be involved ingenerating new relationships with customers and contributing to the winning ofnew contracts.
• You will be responsible for always maintaining a consistently high level of quality of output. This includes being responsible for upholding and developing our Quality Assurance processes.
• We encourage participation in our offshore projects, this could be as offshore engineering support or supervisory roles.

Your Profile

• We are looking for a highly capable individual with a background in either offshore renewables or offshore oil and gas
• For this role degree level education is required, either a MEng or MSc in naval architecture, marine engineering is desirable but we will be willing to consider other disciplines
• We are most interested in candidates with skills and experience in naval architecture, wind farm construction and design, mooring design, anchor handling, on and offshore heavy lift, however, if you feel you have other relevant skills/experience that are suitable for this role, please contact us for further discussion.
• The capability to demonstrate application of technical knowledge is very important
