Job summary

Greenvolt is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to provide cross-functional support across interconnection, permitting, project coordination, and technical due diligence for utility-scale renewable energy projects.

The role involves coordinating across engineering teams, EPC interfaces, and Owner's Engineers, and performing technical analyses including PV layout optimization and BESS integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in utility-scale renewable energy.
• Experience supporting utility-scale solar, BESS, or hybrid projects.
• Strong understanding of the renewable energy project development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support interconnection applications and queue management.
• Assist with GIAs and Engineering & Procurement agreements.
• Review utility comments and coordinate responses with utilities and transmission providers.
• Track interconnection schedules, milestones, risks, and commissioning readiness.
