Job summary

Surbana Jurong Philippines site is seeking an experienced Finance/Accounting professional to review and validate financial transactions in ERP, supervise junior staff, and ensure accurate reconciliations and monthly management reports. The role involves liaising with internal stakeholders, responding to auditors, and driving process improvements within the RTR function.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Business/Accounting, with 5 years of finance experience; CPA/MBA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business, Accountancy, Management Accounting, or Banking.
• With 5 years of relevant work experience in Finance or Accounting.
• Experience with ERP/financial reporting software, SAP or S/4 Hana essential.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines; leadership potential.
• Experience in a BPO or Shared Service setting is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate financial transactions in ERP with high accuracy and policy compliance.
• Provide direction to junior team members and resolve transactional issues; assist with root-cause analysis and adjusting entries.
• Prepare and/or review reconciliations; ensure accounts are properly accounted for and chase for necessary adjustments.
• Perform analytical reviews of key accounts and ensure taxes are prepared/filed as required.
• Prepare/Review monthly management reports and ensure timely submission.
• Respond to auditor requests with timely delivered documents and queries.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate postings; escalate issues when needed.
• Act as main contact in leads' absence and mentor/coach team members.
• Evaluate current accounting processes and propose improvements for efficiency.
