Job summary

Lycopodium Philippines is seeking a Project Controller to join the Project Services team in Manila. The role focuses on cost control, budgeting and reporting for EPCM projects across mining, oil & gas and infrastructure sectors.

Ideal candidates hold a tertiary qualification in a related field and have 5+ years of cost management experience. Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI and SAP is required, with CMS experience a plus. This is a full-time on-site position in Manila.

Qualifications

Tertiary Qualification in Engineering, Finance, Commerce, related discipline or suitable Project Controls qualification.
5+ years in cost control, project accounting, or financial management, ideally in EPCM projects in mining, oil & gas, or infra.
High proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, graphs).
Proficiency in Power BI dashboards.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
Experience with cost management software such as CMS.

Responsibilities

Budget conversion, management and control across Engineering, Procurement and Construction phases and cost estimates.
Ensure cost control structures align with approved budgets and scope definitions.
WBS implementation and management.
Map control budget to procurement and subcontract packages as defined by the Project Team.
Assess funding requirements and identify need for additional funding (contingency, PCN, or shortfall).
Change management and reporting (PCNs, change register).
Forecast management and reporting, monitoring cost forecasts and project performance.
Payment processing, including PPC and forex adjustments of invoices.
