Job summary

Abenson Ventures, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project and Construction Manager to lead civil and structural construction projects in Quezon City, Metro Manila.

This full-time role focuses on planning, execution, and delivery from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, resources, and safety standards are met. You will oversee subcontractors, project documentation, and stakeholder communication, while driving cost control and quality across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Construction Manager or Project Manager on civil/structural engineering projects.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities with experience supervising diverse construction teams.
• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal formats, with fluency in English required.
• Thorough understanding of contract administration and procurement processes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Valid Professional Engineer (PE) licence or relevant certification is preferred.
• Experience with large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress against established timelines and budgets, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure effective execution of work in accordance with specifications and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations and contractual requirements.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, daily logs and photographic records.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders to address concerns, provide updates and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to minimise delays and cost overruns.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety and environmental protocols on all project sites.
• Manage project finances, including cost tracking, invoicing and contract administration.
• Lead and mentor site teams, promoting a culture of safety, professionalism and continuous improvement.
