Job summary

Angkas Manila hub is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lay the groundwork for a seamless end-to-end user experience by crafting consistent UI patterns and driving design innovation that enhances booking completion and product quality at scale.

You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, data/analytics, marketing, and ops to ensure solutions are validated with data, accessible, and scalable across the ride-hailing platform in the Philippines.

Qualifications

• Craft the UI/UX for Angkas’ customer and driver experiences, ensuring a cohesive, intuitive, and scalable product experience across key journeys.
• Execute an end-to-end product design for key initiatives from discovery and definition to prototyping, validation, and final UI delivery.
• Design and refine high-frequency flows (e.g., onboarding, booking, payments, support), ensuring clarity, consistency, and ease-of-use across all touchpoints.
• Simplify complex operational and marketplace constraints into intuitive user flows and interaction models for both customers and drivers.
• Drive the creation and adoption of design patterns and reusable components through Angkas’ design system, improving speed, quality, and consistency across teams.
• Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Data/Analytics, Marketing, and Ops to align on problem framing, validate solutions, and measure impact post-launch.
• Champion design quality and accessibility standards; provide mentorship, critique, and guidance to elevate craft and decision-making across the design team.
