Job summary

OpenTrain AI is seeking a senior PowerShell engineer to audit annotator reviews of AI-generated scripts. You will validate submissions in isolated environments, ensure they meet prompts, run correctly, and follow secure scripting practices.

You will provide corrective feedback, apply rubric-based scoring, and help maintain high-quality data for AI model training. This remote, part-time contractor role offers 20+ hours weekly and $24 per hour.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7+ years of PowerShell development, automation, or dedicated code-review roles.
• Expert knowledge of PowerShell 5.x through 7.x Core.
• Experience with Pester, PSScriptAnalyzer, and debugging tools.
• Strong scripting and security-minded approach to input validation and error handling.
• Excellent written English at B2 CEFR level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Audit annotator reviews of AI-generated PowerShell scripts.
• Execute scripts in isolated/sandboxed environments to verify functional compliance.
• Confirm that scripts satisfy the prompt and run correctly.
• Evaluate idempotence, error handling, and parameter validation.
• Identify credential leaks, injection risks, unescaped inputs, and excessive privilege escalation.
• Correct mis-ratings and provide constructive, actionable feedback.
• Use rubric-based scoring and ticketing/annotation tools.
