Job summary

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Senior Go Code Reviewer to audit annotator reviews of AI-generated Go code. For each submission, you will build and run the snippet in a sandbox, verify that it satisfies the prompt and functions correctly, and assess secure coding and performance practices.

You will correct mis-ratings and provide clear, actionable feedback. Each review must meet the quality rubric and help protect the integrity of AI training data.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of professional Go development, QA, or dedicated code-review experience.
• Go 1.18+ knowledge, including generics, modules, the standard library, and build tooling.
• Proficiency with goroutines, channels, select statements, mutexes, and profiling tools such as pprof and trace.
• Advanced use of the testing package, table-driven tests, benchmarks, the race detector, and Go modules.
• Ability to detect and mitigate Go security issues involving input validation, injection, race conditions, and dependency vulnerabilities.
• Proficiency with Docker, multi-stage builds, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Comfort compiling and executing code in sandboxed environments to validate functional compliance.
• Experience with rubric-based scoring, checklist reviews, and ticketing or annotation tools such as Jira and Asana.
• Excellent written English at B2+ CEFR, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and mentor peers.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute Go snippets in sandboxed environments.
• Confirm that submissions satisfy the stated prompt.
• Verify functional correctness and review implementation quality.
• Evaluate goroutines, channels, error handling and memory safety.
• Identify incorrect annotator ratings and correct them.
• Write clear, actionable feedback for each correction.
• Apply the project’s quality rubric and checklist consistently.
• Help protect training data for next-generation AI models.
