Quanta Philippines ROHQ is seeking a Senior Power Systems Engineer to lead grid connection studies and power system analysis for renewable energy projects. The role requires extensive experience with PSCAD, PSSE, DigSILENT PowerFactory and strong report-writing skills to document results for clients in Australia.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering; Chartered/Professional Engineer preferred.
• 8-10+ years’ senior experience with utility grid connections studies for renewable energy projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with Australian clients remotely.

Responsibilities

• Perform grid connection studies and power system analysis using PSCAD, PSSE and DigSILENT PowerFactory for proposed solar, wind, and BESS projects.
• Capture graphical results and write narrative reports of Generator Performance Standards studies.
• Conduct harmonic assessments and model in PSCAD/PSSE; prepare load flow modelling for Australian power systems.
