Job summary

KDCI Outsourcing is seeking an experienced Power Systems Engineer to provide technical and consulting support across generation, HV transmission, distribution, and grid connection projects. You will perform power system studies using PSS/E, PSCAD, PowerFactory, and Hypersim, and develop engineering solutions to meet project requirements.

You will support project delivery, ensure designs comply with Australian standards and client specifications, and contribute to continuous improvement within

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years in electrical engineering.
Hands-on experience with PSS/E, PSCAD, PowerFactory and Hypersim.
Familiarity with Australian Standards and client specifications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Perform and direct power system studies using PSS/E, PSCAD, PowerFactory and Hypersim.
Manage HV grid connections, substation design and generating plant power systems.
Prepare engineering reports and provide technical advice to teams.
Review designs for compliance with standards and client requirements.
Contribute to tender submissions and proposals as needed.
