Job summary

Quanta Philippines ROHQ is seeking a Civil Engineer to lead civil design for substations, solar farms, and Battery Energy Storage System projects in Manila. You will handle site development, underground works, drainage, and stormwater management while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.

The role requires strong interpretation of geotechnical reports and adherence to engineering standards and project specs across design and construction phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and licensed Civil Engineer.
• Minimum 5 years of civil design experience with substations, solar farms, and/or BESS.
• Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, underground works, earthwork balancing, and stormwater management.
• Ability to interpret geotechnical reports and apply soil stability requirements.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation; familiar with civil codes and utility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plans and designs site grading, drainage, access roads, and stormwater systems.
• Coordinates underground civil works with electrical, structural, and plumbing teams.
• Designs underground utility networks using survey data and geotechnical findings.
• Ensures deliverables require minimal rework and are well-documented.
• Coordinates with multidisciplinary teams and represents civil engineering in reviews.
