Job summary

Advanced Energy is seeking an experienced Test / Validation Engineer – Power Electronics to define and own end-to-end test strategies, ensuring product quality, robustness and compliance through validation, automation, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will develop test plans, fixtures, and automation, build test environments, and contribute to framework development while working closely with hardware, firmware, and system teams to diagnose failures and improve product reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–6 years’ experience testing power electronics systems and people management.
• Proficient in Python and C# for automated test solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end test strategy across the product lifecycle.
• Design and implement automated test solutions and fixtures.
• Develop backend services and APIs to control test systems.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and system teams to diagnose failures.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers.
