Full Scale is a fully remote-first company hiring in the Philippines. We seek a Senior / Staff Platform Security Engineer to own cloud and platform security across Azure, AKS, and CI/CD security.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cloud/platform security related roles
• 4+ years security-focused cloud/platform experience
• Hands-on with Azure (AKS, Entra ID, Azure SQL, Key Vault)
• Kubernetes and container security experience
• IAM, RBAC, PIM, just-in-time access, access reviews
• Terraform / IaC tooling (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
• CI/CD security controls and automated scanning
• Ability to assess vulnerabilities by risk, not just severity
• Excellent communication and independent work capability

Responsibilities

• Own and improve security across Azure, AKS, Azure SQL, networking, storage, identity, secrets, and production environments
• Harden Kubernetes workloads, containers, ingress, workload identity, secrets, and network controls
• Design least-privilege and privileged access models including MFA and access reviews
• Own vulnerability management including triage, remediation tracking, and reporting
• Configure security and monitoring tools to improve threat detection and reduce noise
• Implement CI/CD/ IaC security guardrails (SAST, SCA, secrets scanning)
• Partner with engineers to resolve security findings at the source
• Support security architecture reviews, threat modeling, incident response, and root-cause analysis
• Collaborate on audits, risk assessments, and technical security evidence
• Develop security standards and communicate to technical and executive stakeholders
