Qualifications

• Mastery of Go, Rust, or C++ with expert Python/Bash automation.
• Deep Linux kernel tuning, eBPF, Istio/Cilium internals, and BGP routing.
• Raft/Paxos knowledge with replication lag and CAP theorem trade-offs.
• Certifications: CKA, AWS Architect or GCP Security.

Responsibilities

• Platform Engineering: Design and code custom Kubernetes controllers, mutating admission webhooks, and operators.
• Chaos & Resilience: Build automated chaos frameworks for multi-region production topologies.
• Compute optimization and security: tune CPU pinning, network routing, and spot-instance strategies.
• Zero-Trust: embed security and attestation into CI/CD release loops.
