We require 5+ years of PHP experience, strong MySQL, RESTful APIs, and expertise in JSON data structures. You will work on a client-side driven architecture and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver robust backend services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional PHP development experience.
• Strong commercial experience with PHP, MySQL, RESTful APIs, and Git.
• Experience developing and maintaining client-side driven web applications.
• Excellent written and spoken English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and MySQL.
• Work within a client-side driven application architecture, developing and supporting APIs and backend services consumed by the frontend.
• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimise application performance and database queries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Review code and promote best practices across the development team.
• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party APIs and services.
• Participate in system architecture, planning, and technical decision-making.
• Use GitHub for source control, code reviews, and collaboration.
• Create and maintain technical documentation where required.
• Ensure software quality through testing, debugging, and continuous improvement.
