Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a Performance Tester (JMeter + Selenium) on a contract basis to join our Testing & Quality Assurance team in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. You will design, execute, and analyse performance tests to ensure applications meet performance standards and deliver optimal user experiences under load.

The role involves creating automated scripts, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with developers to identify bottlenecks, and documenting results

Qualifications

• Experience designing and executing performance tests using JMeter.
• Experience creating automated performance scripts.
• Familiarity with web and mobile performance testing using automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute performance test plans using JMeter to simulate real-world loads.
• Create and maintain automated performance scripts with thread groups and assertions.
• Perform end-to-end performance testing across web and mobile apps using Selenium for automation.
• Analyse results, report findings, and suggest optimisations.
• Collaborate with developers to identify root causes and verify fixes.
• Document procedures and results for future reference and improvement.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines and run performance tests during releases.
• Monitor app performance in staging/production and report anomalies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to establish performance benchmarks and acceptance criteria.
