Job summary

Globe is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to lead the design of scalable, secure payment platforms. You will guide squads on cloud-native, event-driven architectures with microservices, Kubernetes, and reliable messaging.

You will drive API-first strategies for payment processing, wallet integration, and reconciliation, while enforcing security standards and real-time observability across deployment and infrastructure layers.

Qualifications

• Over 15 years total experience with minimum 10 years in solutions architecture.
• Proven track record designing distributed microservices with reliability and scalability.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes ecosystem, preferably EKS in production.
• Expertise in API design for internal services and partner integrations.
• Strong background in Pub/Sub architectures, Kafka as backbone for real-time messaging.
• Experience architecting on AWS cloud-native services.
• Solid experience with infrastructure automation, GitOps, and CI/CD best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop distributed microservices and cloud-native apps for payment workflows.
• Lead implementation of event-driven architectures using Kafka and Pub/Sub.
• Collaborate with security, operations, and engineering teams to enforce security and observability.
• Architect deployment and infrastructure layers using EKS, Terraform, and ArgoCD for automation and scalability.
• Guide CI/CD strategy and DevSecOps practices within delivery pipelines.
