Teradyne Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Writer for New Product Introduction (NPI) in Cebu, Philippines.

The role focuses on creating and maintaining Assembly Work Instructions, NPI documentation, and training content for new product transfer and manufacturing readiness. You will work with Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Program Management to ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and ready for controlled release.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional technical writing experience, preferably in manufacturing or high-tech operations.
• Experience creating Assembly Work Instructions, service documentation, training materials, or production documentation.
• Strong ability to understand technical drawings, process flows, and manufacturing requirements.
• Experience with structured authoring tools, documentation databases, CMS, or change control processes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development of technical documentation for NPI programs, including Assembly Work Instructions, service guides, and training materials.
• Translate engineering inputs into clear, usable documentation for production and service teams.
• Assess documentation requirements for new products and define the documentation plan for pilot builds and production ramp.
• Maintain documentation packages for assigned NPI projects and ensure release readiness.
• Review and improve documents to ensure consistency and compliance with standards.
• Create or modify illustrations and visuals to support assembly, service, and product support activities.
