Sinch ClickSend, a cloud-based CPaaS for global business messaging, is hiring a Software Engineer in a remote-capable role. You will join a product squad to build a modern messaging platform, shipping features end-to-end and maintaining production systems.

You’ll design, implement, test and operate services on AWS, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and continuously improve performance, security and reliability while mentoring others and adopting new tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with NodeJS and TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of backend ecosystems and databases
• Proven AWS expertise across core services
• Experience architecting end-to-end systems
• Experience designing microservices and event-driven architectures
• Deep testing knowledge with automated test suites
• Security-first mindset for observability and maintainability
• Mentoring engineers and clear communication
• Team-oriented and collaborative in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

Responsabilités

• Design, build, test and maintain features independently from requirements to production.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following team standards.
• Break down complex problems into well-scoped tasks and deliver on time.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and weigh trade-offs.
• Review peers' code and provide constructive feedback.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Develop and run services on AWS with focus on performance and cost.
• Monitor production systems and troubleshoot incidents.
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, E2E).
• Keep technical documentation up to date.
• Collaborate with product, QA, designers and other teams to deliver outcomes.
• Address technical debt and improve tools and processes.
