Job summary

LevelUp is seeking a Software Developer (Next.js/React) to join our fully remote Philippines team. You will own end-to-end features, implement robust UI, and integrate with Azure-hosted services for HR/payroll tooling. Collaboration with Australia-based stakeholders and a strong focus on quality and security are essential.

You should have 3–5 years of production experience, strong English communication, and a track record of shipping scalable web apps using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience building production-grade Next.js/React apps.
• Strong knowledge of routing, SSR/SSG/ISR, and the React ecosystem.
• Proficient in TypeScript and modern JavaScript; CSS and accessibility basics.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship robust web apps with Next.js and modern JS.
• Convert rough designs into reusable components and interfaces.
• Build secure integrations with HR/payroll platforms and internal tools.
• Deploy and operate apps in Microsoft Azure with CI/CD pipelines.
• Write automated tests and participate in code reviews.
• Monitor production, fix root causes, and support stakeholders.
• Document work clearly and communicate trade-offs to non-technical teammates.
