Job summary

LevelUp is seeking a Software Developer (Next.js) with solid commercial production experience to join our remote team. You will own end-to-end features from design to deployment, collaborating directly with our Head of Operations, Product Lead, and Founder/CEO to translate requirements into polished web applications.

This full-time, remote role is based in the Philippines and aligns with the Brisbane team’s schedule.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of demonstrated commercial experience building production-grade applications.
• Deep practical knowledge of routing, data fetching, rendering strategies (SSR, SSG, ISR), and the React ecosystem.
• Strong eye for interface detail, responsive design, and accessibility basics.

Responsibilities

• Component Translation: shape rough designs into usable components and interfaces.
• Integrations & Data Tooling: build secure integrations with HR/payroll platforms, client databases, and internal tooling.
• Cloud Operations (Azure): deploy, manage, and run apps in Azure, including app services, storage, Entra ID, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Quality Assurance: write and maintain automated tests; participate in code reviews.
• Production Support & Debugging: monitor production systems; investigate and fix root causes.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: work with consultants, PMs, and stakeholders; provide estimates and documentation.
• Security & Compliance: handle sensitive information with data privacy best practices.
