Job Description

We are looking for experienced Network Engineers to support enterprise IT infrastructure, network security, and automation initiatives. The role involves configuring and maintaining network devices, troubleshooting connectivity issues, implementing security configurations, and automating network operations across enterprise environments.

Successful candidates will have strong hands-on experience in network infrastructure, next‑generation firewalls, Layer 3 switching, and network automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, including Cisco switches, routers, and next‑generation firewalls.
• Implement and maintain Layer 3 switching, VLANs, inter‑VLAN routing, and network protocols such as TCP/IP, OSPF, and BGP.
• Manage and troubleshoot Wide Area Network (WAN) connectivity, including SD‑WAN technologies and remote office network infrastructure.
• Build and implement network configurations from scratch, ensuring network security, reliability, and performance.
• Develop Python scripts to automate network configuration, monitoring, and routine operational tasks.
• Use Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
• Work with Git, GitHub, or GitLab for version control and configuration management.
• Support automation initiatives using Ansible and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Monitor network performance, identify connectivity issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize service disruptions.
• Configure network monitoring dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track network health and performance.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, service providers, and stakeholders to resolve complex network issues.
• Document network configurations, operational procedures, security controls, and troubleshooting activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in network engineering, infrastructure management, or a related field.
• Strong experience configuring and troubleshooting next‑generation firewalls and Layer 3 switches.
• Experience building network configurations from scratch, including firewall policies, routing, switching, and security configurations.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and familiarity with Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Experience with Terraform, Infrastructure‑as‑Code, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, or Ansible is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, inter‑VLAN routing, OSPF, BGP, and enterprise network architectures.
• Experience with enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure and network troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Additional Qualifications for Senior WAN Assignments

• Extensive experience managing enterprise‑wide Cisco LAN/WAN infrastructure and Versa SD‑WAN.
• At least 10 years of professional networking experience for assignments requiring senior‑level WAN expertise.
• Experience with network automation using Python and Ansible Tower.
• Familiarity with Datadog or other enterprise network monitoring platforms.
• Experience coordinating with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and supporting multi‑site network environments.
• Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Juniper JNCIP/JNCIE, or equivalent networking certifications are an advantage.
