Job summary

Tasq Work in Taguig, Philippines, seeks a Senior Network Engineer to manage enterprise IT networks onsite at BGC Taguig. You will lead incident resolution, governance, and service delivery across LAN/WAN using Cisco devices.

The role requires 4+ years of hands-on networking, CCNA/CCNP certs, and a customer-focused mindset; willingness to work shifting schedules and US shifts. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years hands-on networking experience (firewalls, routing, switching).
• Expertise with Cisco devices and CCNA/CCNP certifications.
• Willingness to work in shifting schedules and US shifts onsite at BGC Taguig.
• Experience in incident management and managing LAN & WAN networks.
• Familiarity with Cisco switches, routers and firewalls.
• Troubleshooting IT setups across complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Procurement: gather requirements and initiate procurement, BOM creation.
• Service Transition: manage migrations and upgrades for IT services.
• Service Delivery & Support: assist 2nd-level incidents and service requests; ensure SLA compliance.
• Availability & Continuity: backups, redundancies, capacity monitoring to maintain IT service availability.
• Service Level Management: handle escalations, prepare reports, coordinate with providers.
• Supplier Management: engage with vendors to resolve escalations and improve support quality.
• Security Management: implement corrective actions based on security alerts to maintain compliance.
• Incident & Problem Management: root cause analysis and SLA adherence.
• Change & Release Management: document and execute changes in CMDB and manage release schedules.
• Service Improvement: identify enhancements to boost service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Communication: provide updates on service status, maintenance and support.
• Talent Management: training and certification to develop skills.
• Knowledge Management: develop self-help resources and FAQs.
• IT Asset Management: manage assets lifecycle in compliance with policies.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: QA processes and audit feedback.
• Business Continuity: participate in BCMS drills and reporting.
• Organizational Initiatives: support IT infrastructure for projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 4 years of hands on networking experience (i.e. firewalls, routing, and switching)
• Expertise with CISCO Devices
• Strong leadership skills, a passion for quality, and a demonstrated ability to take ownership and accomplish challenging goals
• A customer-service mindset and ability to work in a diverse environment with clients and IT teams globally
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networking, telecommunications, and cloud technologies
• Experience in Incident Management and managing LAN & WAN networks

• Mandatory Certifications (active or has recently expired):
  Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Key Responsibilities:
